What can you automate?
Start with invoices, receipts, or another recurring paperwork task. Drift currently runs an invoice cross-check for a Minnesota garden center and receipt bookkeeping for a gas station. We map your process first, then confirm what can be built.
Do I need to change my software?
The aim is to work with your existing inbox and storage. The invoice build uses Microsoft 365. We check access and compatibility for each new workflow; this is a custom service, not a plug-and-play app.
For that build, delegated access is limited to the working account, not the whole organisation. That is an account-level boundary, not a promise of access to only one folder. There is no direct bank or payroll access.
Where does the data go?
In the invoice workflow, a scheduled job on trigger.dev reads documents from the client’s Microsoft 365 account. Anthropic’s Claude API reads each document and returns fields. Drift’s code applies the rules and writes the results back to the client’s storage.
The AI has no tools to move files or make payments. Original emails and source documents remain available. Provider retention, runtime logs, and development copies are separate from your own storage.
Is my data used to train AI?
Commercial API data is not used for training by default. Anthropic’s standard policy deletes inputs and outputs within 30 days, with documented exceptions. Zero-data-retention is requested, not granted.
PDFs are sent within the API request. That does not remove standard retention. Read Anthropic’s training policy and retention terms.
What is still being formalised?
Zero-data-retention is requested, not granted. Written agreements, runtime-log retention and redaction, deletion, and offboarding procedures are still being formalised. Runtime logs can contain document fields; local development copies remain subject to cleanup.
The health check reports counts and timings, separate from runtime logs. An external review by University of Minnesota cybersecurity faculty is underway. No assessment or certification has been issued.

You work directly with Ayaan Syed. We agree the scope and price for a custom build, then an ongoing monthly retainer for monitoring, maintenance, and an agreed support scope. There is no fixed package price or promised time saving before we understand the task.
If you leave, your files stay in your systems. The written access-removal and cleanup checklist is still being formalised.
